    Hey team! If you've been looking for a way to make a tangible impact in these final days of the election, this is it.
    We are locking down volunteer shifts for the last couple weekends of GOTV (Get Out The Vote) at the Chandler Gilbert Community College location at the Farmers Market! We’ll be handing out Democratic slate cards directly to voters to ensure they support our full ticket right before they walk into the voting booth.

    What's fantastic about this location is that community members head out for their regular shopping and come home having successfully cast their ballot! It’s the ultimate way to meet voters exactly where they are.

    • Flexible shifts to fit your schedule (weekdays, weekends, and Election Day).
    • First-timers welcome—we supply the training and all voting materials.
    • Remember to wear sunscreen and your favorite Democratic and/or blue gear!

    How Volunteer Assignments Work

    • Choose Your Shifts: Register for the dates and times that work best for you.
    • Stay Close to Home: We'll make every effort to assign you to a voting location as close to your home as possible.
    • Get Your Assignment in Advance: Your specific voting location and instructions will be provided a few days before each scheduled shift.
    • Materials and Guidance: We'll coordinate voter guides and electioneering materials and provide instructions before your shift.

    What Will You Do?

    • Greet voters as they arrive at voting locations.
    • Offer LD13 voter guides and information about candidates and ballot choices.
    • Help voters find additional election resources.
    • Follow applicable electioneering rules and remain outside designated restricted areas.

    What Should You Bring?

    You'll likely be spending time outdoors, so we recommend bringing:

    • A hat and sunglasses for sun protection.
    • Sunscreen to protect against Arizona's sunshine.
    • Comfortable shoes suitable for standing and walking.
    • Charged Cell phone to report issues with voting or request assistance
    • Water and refreshments will be provided to all sites.
