Join us every Friday afternoon in the MCDP office for a text bank! 

Over the next several months, MCDP will be hosting a series of community listening sessions in each legislative district to connect voters with MCDP and Democratic elected officials, providing an avenue for conversation and community/voter input on the 2024 election and other timely and relevant issues. We will be texting Dems and left-leaning Independents local to each district, inviting them to join our conversation.

If you're a seasoned text banker - GREAT! If not - NO PROBLEM! It's easy to do, we will walk you through it. Please create an account on openvpb.com before arriving as this will facilitate the process.

MCDP will provide snacks, soft drinks, and tunes! Please bring a fully charged laptop AND phone. See you there!

Ready to register some voters? Join us and help make calls to people who are likely Democratic voters... so long as they are registered! 

We'll provide everything you need to be successful- training, a script, a list of people to call, and camaraderie- just bring yourself and a phone.

• Jacob George, Executive Director, Unity Rising USA/AZ
  Unity Rising educates working‑class voters about candidates committed to building an economy that works for everyone, highlighting how social issues affect economic prosperity. A familiar face to the club, Mr. George has worked on numerous Democratic campaigns and currently serves on the Balsz Elementary School Board in Phoenix.

• Matt Orlando, Chandler City Councilmember
  A U.S. veteran with a defense and aerospace career, Mr. Orlando’s long‑time leadership has helped make Chandler one of the East Valley’s most desirable communities. He is now running for Chandler mayor, an open seat in the 2026 election.

• Chandler Unified School District Update
  A CUSD board member will report on current issues before the board.

• Arizona Legislative Update
  While the Legislature remains in session, we will review pending bills, 2026 ballot propositions, and the status of budget negotiations ahead of the June 30 deadline.

The Democratic Club provides opportunities to meet candidates, learn about issues, provide opportunities to get involved, and meet like-minded people. 

We support Matthew’s Crossing Food Bank. Donations may be dropped off at the meeting or made online at https://matthewscrossing.org. Receipts are available for your dollar‑for‑dollar tax‑deductible gift.

Board of Supervisors Meeting

Please take time to attend CUSD board meetings that you are available for and consider speaking in support of our schools and ALL students & educators. It is important to continue to show up to both support and hold board members accountable after electing them.

With so many divisive issues at the legislature trying to make their way into law that directly attack and marginalize the Transgender and LGTBQ community, we need to have a presence within our Maricopa County Democratic Party where we can be a voice and advocate for this community. We aim to have a monthly meeting on The second Wednesday of each month at 7 pm via Zoom.
